Ceramic Package belongs to the advanced marketing and sample requirement in semiconductor field. Advanced marketing is asked a high quality for high cost, like military, space or special environment like deep ocean or mine.
    MEMS like vacuum package or pressurization requirement will need ceramic package since the material characteristic. Sample marketing always focuses on IC design house, and they need to verify their product in short time, so they will need ceramic package to compare with their mass production one and use the same tooling to decrease the cost on testing.
